The code started popping up back in March. We replaced the developer power supply but it came back a week later. since then we have replaced the developer unit (new), the developer (new), the entire cleaning station and drum etc. (new). It has went as long as 3 weeks with no code and then threw one 2 days in a row. We have checked the contact to the developer bias and tried it in several different positions, checked all the plugs and wiring for worn wires and bad connections. Reseated all connectors on the BCU and controller assy. Any suggestions?

Re: Intermittent SC345 error code on Aficio 2060
Check there are no wires rubbing against the flywheel at the rear of the machine.I've seen this cause this code before because of this. The offending wire gets worn through and can short out. Also believe it or not I've had the drum earth spring cause weird codes like this one. Try stretching it a bit and clean the spring and the part of the chassis where it touches -
Re: Intermittent SC345 error code on Aficio 2060
This may be a long shot, but I once had a strand of broken corona wire stuck in the transfer belt assy that was arcing to the drum and caused this code.NEVER ASSUME ANYTHINGComment

Double Image / Intermittent SC 345
[Cause]
The Drum Drive Shaft main screw is loose or missing.
[Action]
Remove Drum Flywheel, then tighten Drum Drive Shaft main screw to shaft.
I hope the machine is not in the dumpster by now.Comment
