[Electrical] Aficio 2060 Corona and Charge Grid replacement

    HI,

I would like to know witch one is the default value of the Charge Bias. (Voltage applied to image process).

    SP-2001-001

The service manual said that after replace charge corona and grid perform SP-2001-001 and change the value to the default.
    The Actual reading is 900.

Additional data: In the machine was performed a 300K PM. All Parts in the kit was replaced and all parts recommended by service was cleaned or replaced. The machine has 940,00 copies.

Thanks in advance for your time and help.

It says on the screen in the relevant SP mode. The value in the box is the current value, the one below it is the default. If in doubt, print off the SMC data in 5990-004 as this has both default and current values on it.

Strange, I have been working on these boxes since they were new and I have never set the voltages after replacing the corona/grid. Works just fine the way it is when I do the PM.
Testing 1-2-3, testing, testing. Is this thing on?

I agree, I never do this either and have had no issues. Still, it does say that it should be done in the service manual!

I always reset all process values to default when doing a PM and initialize the new components from there.

Yes, it is working fine without resetting the values to default.
                I mean in this machine.

Those values actually have no effect unless the potential sensor can't calibrate or read the drum during process control (or process control is turned off). In that case the values stored in 2001-1, 2201-1 (dev bias) are utilized.
