    Pro 1106 Registration Roller Warping

    I don't really work on this series, it just happens to be at a customer of mine where I service the C900 and this machine is in the same room. The registration rollers have been replaced several times and each time they are warped. The rubber is wider either in the middle of the roller or on the ends of the roller over a period of time. Within a year I believe they have been replaced at least twice. Anyone know a cause or possible solution?

      Does you're customer use carbon less paper?

          They do run NCR on it. I would think the roller would last a while though. we can't get more than a few months anymore.

              Got the same problem. We just replace the roller. The chemicals in the paper destroy the registrationroller.
              Try another brand of ncr paper. It worked, but was too expensive.
