Import AD users to Ricoh aficio c6501

New user here, did a few google searches and it seemed fairly vague if it's possible to import AD users into the machine itself. A quick step by step would help a bunch. Thanks in advance.

I'm not aware of any way to import the directory, but you can set it up to use LDAP on it. It will search the directory from the control panel. The instructions are in the user manual. If you don't have it available, here is a link to it....

It's possible, but it's not quick or step by step.

There are various utilities out there (some free, some not) which will allow you to export your AD directory to a .csv file.

Once you have that, you can use Smart Device Monitor for Admin to "massage" the list, then import it into the machine.

Please keep in mind that AD service is not the responsibility of the dealer or Ricoh; it is a customer responsibility. As such, any time spent by the dealer would be billable.

You did not say if you are the dealer or customer.

Does the client use the global scan software, or possibly utilize an LDAP search? I have seen a large volume of devices with an LDAP connector.. would likely need to be setup by IT or an MFP support group.
