    [Error Code] MPC2500 SC543

    Hi all.

This maschine makes an SC when idle. Error not present, when we visit. Tried other fusing unit and connector behind fusing unit on chassis is OK. Connectors on PCB off and on - has worked for one week but error is back again now. Going to change PCBs mentioned in service manual tomorrow. Any ideas?

    Kind regards

    Frank

Did you upgrade the firmware? I thought there was an RTB out about this one.

Hi Eric. Firmware has been upgraded and the maschine was total disassembled and cleaned just before delivery at christmas.

          Hi Eric.

Thanks for info. I have also checked the connector behind the fusing unit, which sometimes has been broken in the plastic around the connectors.

            Two questions.

When last did you change the thermistors and do you know it all the lamps in the fusing unit are working?

I know the second one sounds screwey, but we have had strange problems with mpc machines, and solved it in the end when discovering that one of the lamps don't work.

              Hi Polarbear.

The first thing I tried was another fusing Unit. Now I have charged thermopile, socket with wires behind fusing, IOB/BICU/PSU PCB. Has run since monday.

Have you now discovered what made it work? It would be nice to know.
