Re: printer configuration (MP 2000LN2)
Thank you for your reply. I do appreciate it.Anyway, i forget to update you guys regarding the solution of this problem. Day after I posted this thread, I went back to client to solve the problem.Luckily I found that checkbox (Long Edge is Vertical).

Re: printer configuration (MP 2000LN2)
Try this step.
In the printing preferences
Go to PAPER,
Do not forget to chk the box (Long Edge is Vertical). (If you are using in the machine's tray paper size is A4 and not A4R).
I hope this resolves the problem.

Re: printer configuration (MP 2000LN2)
1. Right click on the Printer Driver
2. Select Properties.
3. If you have already assigned the IP then click "Configure Port"
4. Check the Port settings to "RAW'
5. Change Raw Settings from 9100, to 10001.
6. OK.
I hope this resolves the problem.

Re: printer configuration (MP 2000LN2)
hah! maybe if you install the optional trays you'll get the proper configurations. And or check the destination settings go to 5807-01 check the values.Leave a comment:

Re: printer configuration (MP 2000LN2)
hmm..ok..i know what you want to say..but I already did that.I have sample of the screenshot of the driver window pane.

I already changed that setting, but no luck..I have installed several Ricoh machines over the network and this is my first time to encounter that kind of problem in that model only.Leave a comment:

Re: printer configuration (MP 2000LN2)
Downloaded the DDST printer driver from Ricoh website and installed it in the computer. Set A4 portrait in the paper tray and the paper size orientation in the printer driver is also the same. Printed the test page but the machine showed"PAPER MISMATCHED, SET A4 landscape." Then I tried printing MS Word document, same thing happen. When the paper is set to A4 landscape, the printer prints automatically. But I want the printer to print in A4 portrait automatically because it reduces the time of printing and drum rotation.Any ideas?Leave a comment:

Re: printer configuration (MP 2000LN2)
There is no option in the driver configuration where we can change the paper size in each tray.Leave a comment:

Re: printer configuration (MP 2000LN2)
Does the driver configuration give you the option to change the paper size/orientation for the individual trays? If so, make sure that the paper is correctly listed in the driver for each tray.Leave a comment:

Re: printer configuration (MP 2000LN2)
No, not a TWAIN driver, that's for scanning. Use the DDST driver.
DDST. Say it with me...DDST.Leave a comment:

Re: printer configuration (MP 2000LN2)
Ah, the LN...
Doesn't use the usual PCL/RPCS drivers, you have to download the DDST driver as that is the only one that'll work with this particular model.
Also if I remember when you install the driver and point it to a standard TCP/IP port, you then have to change the it to print on port 10001 in custom settings (or something similar)
Compared to the normal groundworks PCL/RPCS controller this model is a pain in the arse for networking.
how to change it? i have to go to printer properties, select port and then configure port, am i right?from there i have to change it to port 10001?Leave a comment:

Re: printer configuration (MP 2000LN2)
What driver are you using? The "L" model can only use the PCL/DDST driver as it does not have a GW controller.
Ollie, you beat me to it.Leave a comment:

Re: printer configuration (MP 2000LN2)
When you install the correct driver and program the correct IP-settings the machine should print. Maybe the port setting should be set to LPR instead of RAW (Queue name = lp)?Leave a comment:
