Because i got this error and google leed me this thread,
And it doesn't help me my error
And i found the solution on my repair guy.
So I share it on this thread. Someone can get help on it ....

Some sc 400 error can be clear following code
Go to system settings ( press clear mode + 107 and long hold clea/stop),

Press 33246 #

0 #

And exit switch off and on

I realize this thread got necro'd but just want to quote this and say, don't.
You are essentially just lowering the treshhold for when the machine spits out an error.
Just clean the ID sensors instead of doing silly things in the SP Mode.

Hi , I am experience cing error sc400 on richo 232 have cleaned the I'd senser but not worked please tips And hint to sort this, an also noted black toner leaking could it course this?

From past experiences with these machines, I would add the following to cleaning/replacing the id sensors.

Remove the ITB assembly and remove and clean the metal plate found on the same side as the id sensors (paper feed side).

With use, this plate becomes contaminated with toner (normally ends up being a dark blue/purple colour. Vibration in the machine causes the toner to fall through the square holes in the plate, right onto the id sensors.

To remove the plate, remove the 2 screws that hold the plastic handle in place (closest to you), then slide out the metal plate.

Once cleaned, reinstall the plate, making sure that it sits in the alignment pins, then reinstall the handle and the 2 screws.

Reinstall the ITB assembly and you are done.

Had this problem 3 times, everytime it was cleaning the sensors & changing the ITB-cleaningunit (machines with high volume).
