You are obviously going to need further assistance on this machine in the future, so......
If I had such an EMERGENCY, and i knew exactly where I could find the answer in a matter of minutes, and that the solution would also help me countless times in the future. I know EXACTLY what I'd do....
(You're welcome Paul)
In my revision of the service manual there is no explanation how to enter special sp. I've installed very few of these printers and was faced with the same issue. My final solution was entering factory-sp in order to enable double count. Entering factory SP is almost similar as entering the standard SP (holding 2 buttons + turning the machine on). Since I don't know if my manual might be outdated I'd suggest that you guys could check if the information about the SP (not documentated in my manual) and how to enter special SP is really there before advising the user to pay for pirary. Meanwhile I try to find the procedure. But factory access can also be figured out with trial&error and patience - a little hint: IIRC the three keys below the display are definetly not used to gain access. I also think that "arrow down" was involved. You'll definetly get factory SP displayed if you find the right combination.

I have two of these printers I have to deal with. I entered that Special Service Mode, would I go here to erase any and all client data? Also I am receiving a Finisher Shift error, there are brackets to attach a finisher, but there is no finisher to be found, is there a way to clear this error?
