    Hi there!
When you cleaned the optics, have you make the colour-calibration? If yes maybe your ccd-unit is going bad.

i have done ccd but its still same. if ccd units have problem suppose it will effect my printing. but my printing is ok. b&w copy also ok. only when i use colour my background will be dark. if use single colour also printout ok.

        Hi there!
Oh no!!! If the ccd is not allright, you have good prints, but your copies...........
You can also check the manual gamma-adjust in the 4er sp-modes. When they changed you also get awful copies without print-problems.

Maybe someone performed a memory clear on the machine without re entering the factory data (properly). I'd suggest to compare the scanner/CCD related SP-values from the factory sheet with the actual SP modes and correct them if needed. You could also try resetting the copier function in user tools (simply press the user tools button, then hold down "#" while choosing "copier/document server settings".

I usually choose "text/photo" as dafault in case it's not already selected.

Of course it's also possible that your CCD is faulty (as already mentioned here) or maybe some parts of the scanner aren't in the initial/factory position - usually this does not result in even-appearing quality issue but it's not impossible.

WHoa did you do ACC for copy and print??? If so and color was still dark in copy, did you reset ACC with sp 5610 and then redo AAC?? Did you check to see if end users had adjusted the color balance darker from the color adjust button?? And if you changed the ccd did you enter the SP data that comes with a new one or enter the data from the Sp data list of the donor machine??? And do you have the manual (see paul if you don't) because these are not things to play with if you don't know how these settings work.
