Cleaned optics, Drum assembly run the ssp2214-1 thing, run copies on the lightest setting and still getting background, drum and developer have 45k on it, tomorrow if no help found I will replaced drum and developer, any suggestions??

Rule out optics/scanning as a problem and verify you still have background when you do some sort of engine print, ie; copy count print, internal report, SMC report, etc.

At 75% of its rated life it may not be worth it to mess around with anything but a full PM. If you do feel like spending more time, check & clean your charge roller,
