Ricoh MP6500 MP5500 MP7500 lcd display lamp out. Source for lamp?

I have 2 Ricoh mp6500 machines that have a bad lamp for the touch screen . Does anyone know if you can buy the lamp seperate ? If so, a part # and source would be appreciated. Thanks

I would say the problem would be in the LCD itself...

or the invertor...

If you have a spare op panel in shop for parts, I would try replacing the invertor first.

I'd tend to agree with Mika that the inverter may be the issue more than the CFL. I see this quite a bit with laptops. If you have a op panel on a working machine in your shop, try swapping the inverters.

Is the invertor the small board the lamp plugs into? I know that on one, the lamp is physically broken. So is the invertor a commom problem? On the older Minolta's, I have changed several of the cfl's that went out and could buy them for about $10.
