Machine Ricoh sp3400sf can found server

Hi

i have problem with a ricoh sp3400sf My problem was Scan to mail,
when scanning Document on the machine' the machine ricoh sp3400sf cannot found the exchange server & indicate "sending fail".
All setting are made like Ip address, subnet Mask, Gateway, Dns, Smtp server Ip address.

i connect the exchange server to the ricoh Mp201spf its ok, same setting done its good.

What can block the ricoh sp3400sf to do scan to mail, because the server is ok.
What step to do? upgrade machine, what you advice me.

I have noticed that a number if devices in that family have issues connecting to smtp servers. I've serb this in the usa, but also in europe. I have been told that its a firmware issue in france (version 1.59 & 2.01). For the us, we have firmwares between the two that work, and others that don't. Its so inconsistent that its difficult to hone in on the root cause.
