Print feature missing

Hi all need help.
Aficio3030 with print and scan type3030 sd card, but suddenly the print function missing and try to change another sd card with print and scan type3030,but still the print function missing and scan function are available.
Found out another problem was the IP address cannot change to new ip,onces off and on the power the IP adress go back the the old.Is controller defective?

Hope someone will shed some light on this problem.

NOTE: The Optional Memory (G818) is required for both Printer/Scanner Unit
(B767) and the Printer Unit (B846) - 256MB.

Print out the self diagnostic report (SP5990-005) and see if it reports the proper amount of memory as noted above. As for the IP address... Hmmm...

I have a feeling the problems are related since they both involve the controller. Loose connections, bad memory, bad NV-RAM???

Print out the self diagnosis,the ram is 384mb,but for the firmware version for printer ,there is blank,no version info.
I have scan and printer firmware, can i download the scan and printer firmware?can it overwrite the existent firmware?

If there's no version number in the slot then it's not recognizing the option. Might have a bad Print/Scan card. Updating the firmware won't work - it won't take it if it doesn't recognize it already has it.
