    Question print on cd/dvd?

    Hi

    can i have information about what printer print on dvd/cd?
    Because i have client that a have project on cd/dvd & want to print on cd/dvd.
    what printer i can uses? Give me the model please.

        I was going to be a complete ass and suggest to put the paper weight on OHP, but then again better not...

            X2. The only way I know is to write directly on a CD is to use a LightScribe R/W player. And all that does is use the laser to etch the special coating on the top surface, which doesn't give you any flexibility in terms of color. The etching will be gray to black and the discs can be plain or a single solid color (and you have to use special discs).

            *I wasn't aware until Jomama posted below that certain inkjets can do it. But with the cost factor involved with either the inkjet or lightscribe, using CD labels makes the most sense.

              None of the Ricohs do, but HP and Epson make them. You have to use a special disk and they are all inkjet type printers.

                I use an EPSON Stylus Photo R280 Ink Jet Printer and Verbatum DVDs from Office Max. If you are doing a large group it will take awhile.
