    Notes on the fold function

The 5010E booklet maker is a high end booklet maker that will do hole punch for binding, it will make booklets ready for binding, as well as folding of all kinds. Specs are all on Lanier/Ricoh's website.

If this is the same as the usual Ricoh finishers, if you have 4 or fewer originals when you select "Centre Staple" the machine will fold but not staple in magazine mode.

SO, put the 4 (Single side) originals on the ADF, select Duplex / Book / Magazine. Select Centre Staple..... BINGO!

Also works if you have 2 single sided "Short Edge First" originals. or 1 double sided "Short Edge First". Just select the appropriate Duplex mode instead of Magazine.
