Greeting's Had long day today workin on this beast (MPC7501),Replaced Almost All Parts and doin great after replacement,,at last replaced Fusing blet,thermistors PTR Section and when put the Fusing Unit back in machine it shows (Fusing Unit Setting Error). any fix,hints,clues will be highly appreciated, Thanks in Advance,

Probably not your problem, but the older versions of this series had problems with the connectors going bad. Mostly would see random SC5xx codes, but set fuser messages weren't out of the question. Ricoh says it was a defect in the plastic triggered by the heat, but I've seen a lot of condensation in that area just from what's normally evaporated out of the paper.
Given that it happened during a PM I'd bet on it being as noted above - nothing like fighting with the fuser in this beast then having to tear into it again for something self induced...73 DE W5SSJComment

Did the same myself last week! the top end of the plug wasn't quite pushed tight. I bet the top two pins are the detection loop!Comment
