Aficio 2232c...ID sensor VSG adjust came up SC385.

I cleaned it went through the process. Then replaced the drums and transfer belt with refurbished good stuff, gave it a clean n greases.
Then tried to set the maintained coluor. (Failed). then went to the SP 5-993-002 to force the adjustment. (failed)
It prints terrible. and the SC385 still comes up every now and then.
Is there a way to get it to calibrate?

1) re clean the ID Sensors

2) MUSIC coarse adjustment (Code anyone... no time to look up)

SP5-993-039. This is a rough line positioning adjustment. If that one completes, then use SP5-993-001. Did you also reaplce the ITB Cleaning Unit?

have you cleaned the silver roller on the transfere belt - the id sensors (middle sensor checks id, front and rear check line position) look directly at this roller when doing registration and image density. It has to be spotless. also you say refurbished parts? ive never put anything except genuine parts in these as they were unavailable as single items ie. drum charge blade etc may have changed but have you also reset the pm count sp 5-999?

also I re-cleaned the ID sensor. one was too dirty.
Thanks this did the trick.
It calibrates well now.
BUT.. I still have the original problem with the pick up rollers. The sensors wont even let them pick up on any trays. Miss feed occurs.. I'd do a post..
