Ricoh 1022 won't scan to PDF

I know, real old, scanrouter no longer supported...
At any rate in the scanrouter settings it is set to "multi page pdf" but the scans are coming in as tiff files.
I looked at some recent scans and as of last Monday they were all saved as PDF files, as of today they are being saved as TIFF.
Any ideas?

Resolution set too high?

Maybe bad RAM?

Strange.
It's probably just some sort of 'glitch' in the scanner. I'd do a memory clear on the scanner (only), then remove and add the I/O device in Scanrouter program.
Note: I think the 'delivery option' will need to be turned "on" again after the memory clear

Do all the user having the same problem ? Why not open up the destination setting to check whether someone have change the format, or try to create a new destination for pdf to test.

You are probably trying to scan in Grayscale, which is considered "photographic" (being an 8 bit image) and can only scan as a jpeg/tiff. The same thing will occur on standard SMB scanning to folder or email with our newer devices. If it is, change it to text or text/photo.

Thought of that but it is set to text.

I don't know much about this copier but I know to create a PDF you need postscript. Doesn't this model have an optional postscript card?

I think that is only for printing. It has been working fine for over 5 years prior to this.

I'm afraid that's completely untrue and inapplicable to this problem

Someones Been messing about with the settings on the PC where the scans are going too its not a Copier related Problem.
