    Ricoh aficio 3228c problems with the black developer unit

    Hi all, I replaced the black developer unit, after a few days of operation makes copies streaked white, black developer looking at the group seems that the amount of developer in the group is too low, replace with another new group on the original problem after a few days again, can anyone help me understand what the problem is

    Replace the Development Clutch for black, and while you're there replace the CMY-clutches also. Part no. AX20-0273.

      As for an explanation, the clutch will 'stick' (not disengage) which leads to the developer material being pulled out through the pcu and the transfer unit.

      *Funny how a few years ago this was a frequent question, shows how models fade away to replaced by new ones with new problems.
