[Error Code] SC870 in AFICIO3045/745 ADDRESS BOOK ERROR

Hi there,
It's an AFICIO 3045 with SC 870 in field.Units works fine with copying/printing but SC 870 displaying all the time (ADDRESS BOOK eror). and scanning does not work.

I have tried to reformat harddisk.Then swaped the harddisk with another and the status is same and unit do every job except scanning. (There is no fax module on the unit).

Is there any remedy for this.

look sc 870 means that hdd is not exists or become piece of junk.try another hdd don't less than 40g .did yo mean problem in storing files on hdd or scanning from cpu if problem in storing files replace another hdd .check out power and data cable.may be some pine bent
