    [Error Code] Cannot install this software.

    Hey all,
    I have an MP C3000. Removed the postscript SD to transfer to another machine. When i turned the machine back on, a message started flashing on the panel, "Cannot install this software. This software has already been installed on another machine".

    Is there any way to remove the message? Also the original postscript is now at the other clients place so I cant retrieve it.

      Seems like I had to had to do this in the past. Try going into user tools>extended features and see if you can uninstall it from that screen.

          The Postscript SD-card can only be used on 1 machine.

                  I think this has been beat to death, (like LlamaGod on a date with his girlfriend). Did you try to install the Merged , not the actual PS3 card, card into another machine?

                      Not to death, just hospitalised for a reasonable period so that I can get in some time with the lads having some beers.

                      On the plus side, I can have some sex before the ambulance arrives too, providing she's too weak to fight me off.

                          you are trying to install an extended feature from a different sd card, not the post script.
                          the extended feature has the serial number of the original machine imbedded in it now and will not work on any other machine.
                          also with out the post script sd card you will not be able to use the post script driver.
                          if you are using a mac on this machine there is a driver out there that will allow you to print, but it is very very slow in the process.

                              i have the same problem with this error, did anyone try to disabling it in sp mode?
                              .....with all it shams, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world.....
