hi,
i would like to ask for help. i am having this very simple but quite weird problem with an old model aficio 270. copy sp won't come out no matter how many times i pressed yellow 107 orange (long press) - we call the buttons here by its color. i need to do force toner. but when i press each button to check if the buttons are ok or maybe there are buttons that has stuck, all the buttons are responding well. this is my first time to encounter this problem. we only have 1 machine left for this model.
please help. thank you.

I also have some of these old boxes to take care off and sometimes I also can not go into SP-mode. Switching the machine off/on sometimes helps. I think it's time for this machine to retire...

thank you eric. i suggested it to my client but they refuse to retire this machine since they say it's a good machine and they don't use it very often and they don't have a budget to buy a new copier. they say the problem is very simple and yet i can't fix it. any other ways how to access sp mode? i just need to reset the sc code (forgot the code, problem with fusing unit, sc545 if i am not mistaken) and do force toner. please help. thank you. i turned it off and on many, many times but still can't access sp mode.
