I replaced the fuser cleaning web in our Ricoh MP6001, then went into service mode and cleared all the relevant counters.
Or so I thought.
When I turn on the machine, I get the error message "Replacement required cleaning web"
I went into SP7 and cleared down PM Parts Counter normal and DF, PM Count for web roll and PM counter, web and All PM.
I have tried clearing all these down and starting the machine with the door open and the fuser unit pulled out in case the sensor is set wrong, but all to no avail.
I was even chatting to a Ricoh service tech over the phone and he was stumped over what else to clear or to do.
Any thoughts?
