    Ricoh CL7000CMF

Old copier, but still works well. When I print in 600dpi, she is off the paper (Not square). When I print in 1200dpi she prints perfect. It is off by about 1/4 inch to the right at 600dpi. I tried reseting everything I could. Any help would be nice. Thank you

Is it just black or is it all colours that are out?

Which direction is the 1/4 out on?
Front to rear (mainscan) or left to right (subscan)(paper feed direction).

If I use the printer from a computer or if I copy, it does this. Black and colors. If I print something and I hold it in my hand, it is over towards the right side too much at 600 dpi. 1200 dpi she is great but takes long to print and uses a lot of toner

Sounds like it may be the paper feed registration.
600dpi and 1200dpi do print at two different speeds and there may be
some slipage happening at registration for the faster moving 600dpi.

Try opening the RHS door and rotate and clean the long rubber roller near the top with a water damp cloth.
You may need to apply a fair bit of elbow grease to make it go back to black and gain some grip back.
(Also be sure the tiny black sensor below the reg roller is clear of dust after cleaning).

        Then test.

If that does not work attached is how to adjust registration from the user menu.

I have the copier added to the printer, so I can't access the printer from the printer. Expander Type 7000 is what is on top of the printer. How do I access it from there. Rollers look good.

I see what you mean about bringing the roller back to black. It was dirty and the metal one in the door also had stuff on it. Problem still there. Will disconnect expander and try to access printer.

The printers display will not come on even if it's disconnected as it has different firmware loaded to make it work with the copy feature expander.

I would place a service call as I'm not even sure the problem is the paper feed registration.
A tech would really need see what is happening for himself to be honest.

Thanks for the help. This is at the house. I need a copier, color, 11x17, network printer, fax, scan in color and copier. If you were going to buy a used machine, what would you get?

How deep do your pockets go?

As you are going to be looking at a fair amount of cash for a decent A3 laser MFD.
I personally would not buy a used machine either without knowing the full service history and what was replaced when they reconditioned it.
