    Aficio MP 6001

Okay, so i figure i'll ask on here since i still for the life of me cannot find any documentation of this issue, nor figure out how to solve it by deductive guessing.

At my work, got a MP 6001, gets errors: j054, j057, j059 when scanning in images sometimes(seems to be the more darker images).

We just had someone come out and supposedly clean it yesterday, and that hasnt resolved the issue. It used to jam up even worse when i first started here, but one day it magically started working, and has gradually declined since.

I'm using the ADF portion of the scanner, and we only ever scan in B&W images. It's not a problem when it's just every once in awhile, but I would like to fix this issue before it degrades even more.

PLEASE assist me with this! And thank you

Sounds like you need to drag that tech back out to fix the problem. I know Infomax has tech's that can fix this for you.

As mention earlier, get the tech that cleaned it to investigate further and fix it. No quick fix here.

The tech should come out and take a look, but are the images you're scanning on plain 20# paper or are they on some kind of thicker stock? Are they full bleed, or close to it? When the tech comes back out, be sure to have samples of the types of originals you're trying to scan at the ready. Document feeders can be very particular and often we're not given samples of what's being copied or scanned in a regular job volume.
