Aficio 3045 SC995

Print board lost communication. While waiting on the replacement board the copier stopped working also. All you get is 'Waiting" message and red wrench.
Put in replacement print board (Used of course) now all we get is SC995. I suspect that we need a firmware upgrade which we will do Monday. Is there anything else we might need to be prepaired for? The thought crossed my mind to just switch out the SD cards but I was in a rush and so was the customer.

Usually that is a wrong controller board installed, 35 and 45 have different boards. Or maybe the dips settings on the I/O are wrong.

this code means that input/output board is not suitable for model as wine man says that.check that from dip switches num1.otherwise it was corruptd

What was the original call for. "Lost Communication"? Network problem? Spooling? You may want to put the original controller back in and check out some other avenues like the network settings (Duplex Mismatch), HDD, ram, customer software, firmware.
