    Ricoh MPC3500

customer complains that when various commands are sent to the printer the outputof jobs is "mixed". For example, a large job is being sent and start printing, than another smalljob sent by another person is immediately printed and the output lies between the output of the large job. . Is there an adjustment to prevent this ?Machine has only one output tray. Thanks in advance

for a start i would check print driver settings, whether or not drivers are installed locally or via a server if so delete and reinstall drivers. This is relatively simple to do before you start digging into the machine

All drivers are installed locally, not on a server.

sounds like a firmware issue to me. That's where I'd start

Is the port for drivers set to LPR?
Raw goes to the memory, LPR goes to the HDD and acts as a spooler preventing multiple jobs from getting mixed up.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

It is default and probably RAW . . .You're sure that LPR prevents "mixing" the jobs ?
