Got a good one here. Customer had a perfectly good working sp4210dn. They dropped it, Ricoh sends them a replacement one. It has the extra tray 2 on it. It jams from tray 2(jam code 17).. we swapped out tray 2 with a new unused unit, updated firmware, replaced engine board all to no avail. Tech support has no idea either, so they swap out this one with a SP4310dn. This one is also doing the same thing..jamming from tray 2 (code 17)..tray 1 on both units work fine. Anybody else having this problem? I have a theory..both the newer machines have the new CPU they had to use because of the tsunami..so it has the newer firmware on it instead of the old firmware that the original machine that they had dropped had on it. But if that's the case.. I would think somebody else with the new architecture boards would be having this problem too.
