    ricoh mp 3350 network issue

ricoh mp 3350 with a particular issue. i have network activity constantly from the machine. (port light blinks constantly on router). Jobs take very long to print if they print at all. New laptop running win 7 pro x64. I have replaced the router, cables, updated firmware. ( i have even replaced the board on the copier). Still have issues. I am going to my laptop to see if its the machine or the pc. Anybody experience anything like thisthanks

There is a setting to change the buffer speed under the Printer Functions you can change, User Tools-Printer Features-Host Interface-I/O Buffer change it from 256 to 512. Also if your printing through a server install the driver locally rather than through the server and try using a LPR/LPD port rather than Standard TCP/IP. Sometimes the TCP/IP connection can get clogged with information and LPR/LPD is a better route. If you still have problems hit me back.

thanks for the reply..tried your suggestion and still had the issue..retraced my steps....went back to the network cable. pulled another one out of the bag. Had issues with the new cable, but it was different. Went to best buy, bought another cable and it works. Had issues with 2 brand new ethernet cables.
