    Aficio 1045 ARDF

My 4 years old refurbish 1045 still up and kicking,

issue is ARDF can't run is SP mode DF test Run as in no response.

normal operation, copy thru ARDF in duplex and one side is no problem.

what is suppose to be the problem.

    thanks

Are you using 6009 or the dips on the adf board?

First, the machine is actually 12 years old..(that is likely the cause of your 'software glitch') and you say the DF works fine under normal operation, and It's only "free run" in SP mode that's giving you a problem. What's the big deal? Does the machine actually have a functional issue you need help solving?

My best guess is you dont know how to execute 6009, so look in your sm at the dips for free run. much more extensive,
          If you're just f'ing around, don't.

            The pulley will have broken.

            I don't know why I said that.

            I don't know why I said anything.

I don't know what this thread is for.

i know all of you guys have lots of experience in fixing copiers.

DF test run helps a lot in fixing ARDF intermitent jam problem you can run several sheet of paper and the copier is not printing, i think you know what i mean.

i knew how exactly to use 6009-1/2

is there a dips setting to bypass test run since sp mode enable software is not functional.

              thanks to all who reply

If the device has the Document Server function, just scan to that all day. No wasted paper and delete the files when done.

The dip switch settings are as follows....
