The magenta color registration is off (only magenta). Automatic adjustment fails, 070707 shows for failure code. Replaced transfer belt, entire transfer unit, ID sensors. Not sure where to look next. Any help is appreciated.

Just the magenta?
You could try a forced line position adjust or reset the alignment using the machine's birth certificate.
Have you tried a new PCU in it? -

I swapped the PCU with the cyan and no change. I forced the line adjustment but it failed, weird that it is only the magenta which is the first color in the process. I've lost enough hair, don't need to pull out anymore, know what I mean? Thank for your helpComment

Is the roller on the transfer unit (under the transfer belt) that is directly opposite the three I.D sensors clean?
This roller should almost have a mirror like finish as the light emitted from ID sensors bounces back off and receives feedback from the surface of that roller (on this model anyway).
Also SC285 logged on the SMC would indicate this roller is dirty or there is a pitted/marked transfer belt.- Knowledge not shared, is eventually knowledge that becomes lost... like tears in the rain.
