    ricoh mp c6000

i'm working on a ricoh mp c6000 and EVERYTIME i try to print on envelopes thru the bypass it jams in the duplex unit .It goes in the duplex to turn around before exiting even though i'm not selecting duplex. Bypass does not jam on any other size paper. Any help on this problem?

Does the bp jam on other sizes? Did you set the envelope size for the bypass? Did you feed the envelope in the prescribed direction as described in the op man?

      Duplex unit!?!?!

Please don't say that you're trying to duplex print envelopes.

Yes, why on earth would you want to put an envelope through the duplexer?

Do you not have to specify somewhere 'face up' output to avoid the inverter? Perhaps I'm thinking of an older model...

I agree with Zed (yet again, damn his eyes.)

Also, you may need to turn off the auto paper thickness sensor.
