Sc302 on ricoh aficio 2018d

Hi,am working on the above machine and shows the above error. I have checked the laser system and looks properly ok.Initially the gear assembly of the main drive was broken and repaired,however after reassembling the unit this error crops up.Any assistance welcome,thanks

Is it sc302 or SC320? SC302 is leaking main charge, SC320 is bad polygon mirror motor

sc302 is usually PCU or charge roller.
As you say you have recently repaired the main drive gears, is the drum turning correctly?

Check charge connectors and connectors on the back of the pcu

Is it 302 or 320? if it's 302 then you fingering the wrong Place,



SC 302 Charge roller current leak

A current leak signal for the charge roller is

􀂃 Charge roller damaged
􀂃 High voltage supply board defective ,,look for 2 terminals C & B from High voltage board to main drive(Gear BOX) bushings/Shafts,


SC320 bad polygon mirror motor.even if Drum is not rotating it will throw SC320 sometimes, which indicates you miss the trick in gear box,

The actual error is sc302.when i disconnect the HVT board the machine gets ready,meaning either the charger roller could be defective or the connections.I will re-try and let you know.

Hi guys, i revisited this machine and got the problem fixed.There was broken connection between the charger roller and HVT.Thanks to you all for your great contribution and especially Llama for the magic book.
