MPC2500 LCD screen blackout

all the key n light on the panel is working but only the lcd screen is not function [blackout - no image]i have replace a several parts like one unit new panel,mainboard powersuppply everything but still the samecan anyone help me?

Yes it is! I had one just like this, if you shine a torch at the touch screen it was actually showingg SC202. However the polygon mirror was blown, and so was the BCU board. Those mirror motors are starting to become real trouble.

It'sa sudden failure with no warning. I have smelt the smokey smell of burnt parts in the motor (its a small PCB with a very simple open brushless motor with the polygon mirror forming the armature. Something on the small pcb goes. It may or may not take out the BCU - however a blacked out LCD seems to be a give away that the BCU is also gone, replace the motor first. FYI we are seeing it a lot on MPC2800 model for some reason.

The early mirror motors had issues on these machines in that they were defective and would cause SC202 issues. In addition, when they blew out, there was a good chance they would take the BICU with them.

If you have a machine that displays a SC202 and the display is otherwise working fine, just the mirror motor needs to be replaced.

If you have a machine as described with a dark screen, you can either use the flash light or you can also web into the machine if it is on a network and it will show a SC202 in the WIM. In this case, both the BICU and mirror motor should be replaced at the same time.
