[Jamming] Ricoh Aficio 1055 weird jam problem

I have a strange jam problem with the machine at our church. Every time I try to make multiple copies on letter size I get a jam. There is paper at the "B" place and in the duplexer. I ran the same originals and copy settings on legal and it ran fine. I also ran the same settings on 11x17 and it ran fine. I have used fresh paper just out of the wrapper, I have fanned the paper and everything. The tech was just here to fix the same issue. He will be coming back, but I am hoping for some insight. Is there a possibility that it is feeding the paper too fast? Is there a way to change the copy speed? The machine has worked great for us (not high volume) but this is pretty frustrating.

Normally I would tell you to call a tech. But since you have done that with no success, I know this machine is part of a family of machines that leak developer down into the feed staions and cause jamming.
Because your letter paper is probably in tray 1 the top tray and legal/leger are tray2,3 leaking developer could be the cause. The top tray is polluted first. Take a flashlight and look between the duplexer and the transfer section that drops down with the B lever, at the rear of the machine you may see what looks like a pile of toner.
