    Flat side oilroller Ricoh mpc3500

I have a Ricoh mpc3500 which very often has a flat oilroller.
The roller blocks and gives problems.
    Who knows the cause?
There has already been a complete fuser replaced

Possibly this? assuming oilroller = fusing roller

    BULLETIN NUMBER: B222/B224 – 048 08/28/2009
    APPLICABLE MODEL:
    GESTETNER – DSc535/DSc545
    LANIER – LD435c/LD445c
    RICOH – AFICIO MP C3500/MP C4500
    SAVIN – C3535/C4540
SUBJECT: DEFORMED FUSING ROLLER – POOR IMAGE QUALITY
    SYMPTOM:
    1. Double images or uneven image density in solid image areas (color).
    2. A rattling sound can be heard coming from the fusing unit.
    NOTE:
•You can confirm the image quality related symptoms (#1) by printing out the SP2109-023 test pattern.
•You can confirm the rattling (#2) by performing the SP5804-027 output check.
    CAUSE:
The machine is used under the following conditions, which minimizes the frequency at which the fusing roller
is rotated or idled. Also, the idling home positionis constant. As a result, the same area of the fusing roller
surface is exposed to the heating roller for long periods of time, which flattens out this area.
•Energy save Mode is set to OFF
•The actual PV is very low (1000 prints/month or less)
    SOLUTION:
If the symptom is reported from the field:
    1. Replace the fusing roller.
    2. Change SP1115-002 from a setting of 0.7s to 0.9s.
NOTE: This will change the home position of the fusing rollerwhen idling is performed every hour. This
prevents the same area on the fusing roller surface from being constantly exposed to heat.
If the symptom has not been reported, but the custome r uses the machine as described above (Energy save
Mode OFF, 1000 prints/month or less):
•At the next service visit, change SP1115-002 from a setting of 0.7s to 0.9s.
