Aficio 3030 Scan sender issue

Have an Aficio 3030 that the customer has decided to start scanning from. Set up fine until got to the part about designate sender. Went to file tranfer tab but it is missing in the system file. There is acctually a blank space where it should be. Also the button that allows you to manual imput the sender is greayed out on the scan panel. Which leads me to believe some function has ben dissabled but have no idea which one. Monday we will try firmware upgrade.

You have to assign a sender in the address book first, then set administrators default address, then turn on default sender name.

Or verify that entries in the address book are also registered as senders.

Done all that the. The Transfer is missing so there is no way to auto specify. The question is there anything that would cause the Transfer tab to disapear as well as "Grey" out the Sender Info button on the scan panel?

have you tried to do memory clear for the SCANNER application???

No. Same as Fax memory clear?
