    MP9000

    y have a strange problem whith a MP9000
    when copy sometimes very often logs sc 144 and sc 101
    i had replace MCU,lens unit ,scanner motor etc.

    ram clear, disconet HDD`s flash new firmware.
    if y work with adf i can see that few scanners the exp lamp turn off and machine reboot(log sc 101 and 144 and sometimes sc 955)
    if y put original in the glass, few scanners latter the exp lamp stay on in home position during seconds and machine reboots.
    in priter mode no problem.
    y hask some help for someone that had similar problem.

    Is the ARDF unit sitting correctly and all connections fitted correctly?
    Was there any incident of a KNOCK during installation

    Can you post some examples of a copy after you have checed the lamps and rail...

    Also have you entered service mode and adjusted the scanner for auto

      SC 101 Exposure lamp error, Check or replace mirrors for damage
      SC 101 Exposure lamp error, Dirty white plate
      SC 101 Exposure lamp error, Exposure lamp defective
      SC 101 Exposure lamp error, Harness and connections
      SC 101 Exposure lamp error, Lamp Stabilizer defective
      SC 101 Exposure lamp error, SBU defective
      SC 101 Exposure lamp error, make sure white strip is on top of glass when placed on copier
      Maybe its helps

        the copy are good until sc appear,i had see only one middle good and the rest black.
        i had disconect the ardf for testing and the problem is the same.

        the machine was disconect during one month and when turn on this problem begins.
        today i will try to change memory module.

          i think i had change everything (exp lamp,lamp stab,sbu,mcu,harness)

          when the machine gets ready i can scan everithing i want to doc.server and then i can print.but if i try to make some copyies or scan to doc.server after print something i get this problem, i have to reboot and then i can save more in doc.server.
          srtangeeee isn't ittttt!!!!!!

                Try new NVRAM,Format HDD restore the non defualt values in new NVRAM,flash a new and correct Firmware...when it sounds strange and weird deal with it strange way,

                  I would try to reseat all the connectors from the IPU to BICU. Before replacing major parts, make sure that all connectors are seated properly.Loose connections can cause strange problems which drive us crazy.

                      you need to order for the scanner harness one wire is inactive
