[Jamming] Aficio 3045 (Jamming Intermittently)

Feeding rollers are new, feed clutches are all ok, torque limiters and two sensors in the feeding unit are good, paper trays no problem but still paper jams in tray 1. Tray 2 is working fine. When I open the tray 1 and close it again, it works for the first job and paper jams in the next job.When I check the pick-up roller, it seems that it is not rotating that is why it indicates jams. I already removed the feeding unit (the whole unit) and cleaned it but still same problem.Any ideas??

When you say feed clutches are all ok,you mean those are all new?
What if you interchange first feed clutch with second feed clutch the(good one),Try it .just a thought.

SP 5804,out put check/ first feed clutch /ON ..do you hear (click)when you turn it on?
Cant rule out the (one way clutch) in feed unit,also need to have look @ that one,

yo may need swapping process swap pick up rollers and swap clutches if yo suspicious form it.clean registration sensor .there is small belt in registration which hold on small gear when yo take off front registration cover .that small gear fret.this jam in a or in a/c.check out left motor .

Problem solved!We checked the feeding section again and we found out that the gear (see attached image ) was failing. That gear is like a one way clutch.After cleaning it with W40 (a kind of lubricating oil), it worked without any jamming error.Cheers!gear-11z.jpg

yep. you can't rule them out when feeding Unit sucks, Either it's magnatic clutch or one way busing's,gears!
