ricoh 1075 backgrounding

The 1075 has new dv , dv unit , it will stay at set bias 550 untill it goes to sleep, when it comes back awake the dv bias goes thru the roof to 700?
what is causing this abnormality to happen when it wakes back up? its not drinkking espresso!! LOL
Please, any info would be helpfull, for now i guess i set it not to go to sleep and stay on? client wont like that....

It's been my experience on this model that background issues are normally due to a worn out drum.

i also agree with the Drum, have you checked and cleaned the drum unit?

Sp2962 auto image process control - do this and whats the result
