Aficio 1027 - "Please Wait Sign On"

Dear friends,
Has any one come across this problem on a Aficio 1027 before? After switching on, the machine panel display just shows "Please Wait" and does not turn to "Ready" . It's a basic machine without print/scan/fax connectivity. I have not replace any parts yet but i am suspecting it's the power supply unit?? Thanks in advance

Or it could be something to do with the Fusing unit. Have you checked the FU, also does this machine have a HDD its been that long since i worked on one i have forgot

If it's a basic machine then it wouldn't have a hard drive.

Firmware update?

the cause of the problem must be the thermistor from melting. Make sure the temperature in SP 1106 roll up this merger.
Another cause and firmware upgrade.

Ok im awake lol, i have had 3 types of problems with this machine grounded at please wait.

The transfer sep roller on the door was shot, as soon as i replaced it all was well
The fusing thermostat had blown and needed bouncing of the wall to start, i replaced it later
and the PCU had damaged the spring at the rear from removing and installing (Hard)

Try these 3 i bet you will be sorted

If the machine has the Printer/Scanner Unit installed then 99,999% chance that the HDD is broken. You can try to format the HDD in a PC, or replace it.

If you do not need print scan function just unplug the hard drive.the machine will work as a copier although duplexing may not work

The quickest way is to unplug HDD and fire it up...If it still hangs up, try any of the above.

is it giving any error code after long time sc 672? this hard dick problem format the Hdd.
