    MP3352 ARDF misfeeding first page

One of these machines is spinning its wheels to no avail. Its got a new feed clutch, feed belt and reverse roller. It will fail to feed the first page of a document, but when I reset the jam, the solenoid-activated shield stays down and I can push the paper further into the doc feed, then it runs fine.

I'm in the cusp of something here, clearly. Tearing the shield out is sadly not an option. Thoughts?

      I had tried that.

The problem was that one of the tabs on one of the black plastic "wings" on the feed shaft was broken. Ridiculous. I would have never noticed it.

Ok you never mentioned the torque limiter as these are a pest when they crack causing intermittent jams and really need to be looked at to identify,

But your issue will be one to look out for in the future...
