    Aficio 1035-0V chaege roller bias

    Hello guys,today I try to touch up a aficio 1035 machine..at the starting when I print out the meter reading is quite nice image.but when i print for the second time the whole page was black,and sometimes with big and thin black lines..when i go for sp mode,i notice tat the charge roller bias is set to 0V,i set back to 1480v and test again..test for 2 or 3 pages it jump back to 0V again...any ideas???

    It probably needs new drum and developer. The value is changing because the machine is self calibrating.

      already replaced new drum and developer,but still the same..

        look for any sc codes (eg 991), drum earth at rear machine was an issue for that model also so I,ve heard

          Which Dev did you use it could be that you used the wrong type perhaps.

            Sounds like a charge issue, contacts to the cahrge roller, the bushings the charge roller sits in, the contact at the rear of the pcu all worth checking out and ensuring good continuity between all points....

              He's right, check the spring tab terminals and make sure they are making good contact with the ones on the charge roller holders. Bad contact will result in a black print.

                yea definitely bad contact of drum.always spring not set well.or bent

                  Sounds like a poor charge roller contact, chuck a pcu at it that should fix it
