Any way to use MPC4500 fuser on SPC811DN printer?

    Hi everyone,
I was just wondering if there any way of utilizing Aficio MPC4500 fuser (B2234021) fuser on a printer SPC811DN (similar to MPC4500 but without an upper scanner part)? If you ever done it before please explain in details how to do it? I tried to put C4500 fuser into C811Dn but it wouldn't recognize it.
    Thank you!

As a get going fix: we sometimes put the SPC811DN fuser into MPC4500; not the other way around.
Move pin 1 to pin 2 in the fuser connector. You have to reset the fuser counter manually.

This is a little late but unfortunately I get to spend very little time in this forum. Ricoh has a procedure available to rework SP C811 consumables for the MP C2500/C3000/C3500/C4500. Maybe the reverse also works?

The fuser for the SPC811DN is a customer changeable item and has a blow once fuse in to reset the counter and remove the message. The MPC4500 is an engineer rebuild unit, so there is no fuse. This is why the counter is not reset. I have not needed to try swapping the pins. I would suggest you need to order the correct fuser for the machine to be sure.

The SPC811 Fuser is a lot less exspensive than the mpc4500 sometimes they get so worn out you need a complete fuser like after 1,000,000 devs the only thing you need to do is exchange the Harness assy with the MPC4500 the rest of the parts in the Fuser are the same.

same applies to the spc820 mpc4000/5000
