Nashuatec DSC 338 (Ricoh AF2238c) doesnt recognize cyan toner

    Nashuatec DSC 338 (Ricoh AF2238c) doesnt recognize cyan toner

    Hi guys,

    I have a nashuatec dsc338 and it has this odd problem.
    I have changed the cyan toner at least 3 times now and it doesnt recognize it.
    in the beggining when i put the toner and close the door it says "loading toner" then after a few says " no toner: cyan".

    It also has an error sc 870 but if you turn it to black and white only it copies normally.

    Please guys any suggestions?

      It's such a 'odd' problem, that I'll bet there's only 150 threads (+/-) dealing with this exact issue. But once again for good measure....clean hoses and/or replace toner pump (most likely). ALSO.. NEVER,EVER use that generic toner that I would bet you`re using.
      SC 870 is an unrelated HDD address book error (SP 5846-50 to initialize)

          Unrelated unless you formatted the HD to try to resolve your problem.

              I am using ricoh aficio 2238c toner.

                  Does that mean Ricoh GENUINE type P1 toner? Or toner 'for use in' Ricoh 2238C?
