IS300e Ricoh scanner "Check The Power"

Hi,

Few days ago I had strange text displayed on client's scanner Ricoh iS300e "Cannot Recognize The Scanner Check The Power".
Trying to OFF then ON nothing good happened. After 7 times turning off and on it started correctly.
2 or 3 times a week scanner shows "Cannot Recognize The Scanner Check The Power"
If somebody knows what is the problem?

I can't delete my post, but I did erase my original advice because after I read it again it seemed ridiculous.
