    [Misc] Fonts

    i am working on an MP 4000 and it's printing in pale i want to know if there is a way i can change or load fonts into the machine that will help bold the print...... any ideas on where to get fonts and how to load them?

    Excuse me? Just the text is light? You're saying that graphics, halftones, etc, are all fine?

      problem is with printing eevrything thats printed comes out faint but solid originals when you copy come out solid ... could it be a setting problem from the p.c's end ?

        Internal test pages print out ok too? (For example the configuration page and font page?
        In my opinion, the problem has to be on the user end. It sounds like an incorrect driver. I would try re-installing the (proper) PCL driver. If it still doesn't work. I'd connect my own laptop and check the results.

          Check the eco print setting.

            If driver is set to toner save mode, the density is light.
            Why do they call it common sense?

            If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

                Thanks a bunch guys let me go try it out today and see what happens, my initial thoughts were problem was from the p.c's end because anything printed from the machines memory comes out solid ...... so here go's .......
