    MP5000 TD initialization failed

Any idea why TD initializing on this machine will fail. I am guessing the TD sensor is faulty and i am going to order one tomorrow. Just want to know if someone thinks it can be something else.

    Thanks

Is the dev unit seated properly? I've had various issues with this sort of thing. Doesn't always throw up an error, but sometimes an extremely light copy produced. Unbolt all the gear holding the drum and dev unit in and reseat them and try again.

There was a issue with the firmware when they first came out causing failure when initializing the dev check and update the firmware before replacing any parts never had a TD sensor fail on one of these yet.

        Hi there!
Agree to Bantams. First update the newest firmware (completly!), then make a retry.
        Greetings...

Just to clarify - the dev sets up correctly, it just says failed.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

            Hit it.
