    MP2550 "please wait" displayed

SOLVED but passing on in case it helps someone. Just had this today at a major account, fortunately i have alot of this model onsite which i could swap parts around with. Did the usual hard drive and control pcb, tried BICU and power supply pcb, all made no difference. Cause was eventually found to be display control pcb which seemed a strange one to me. Just one more thing to bare in mind with this popular fault.

Nice find, I'm assuming it was the main PCB and not the Sub Assy?
