Has anybody had this error message flashing in the bottom left hand corner of the screen on an MP4000? Ricoh don't know what it is.

Re: Log data capacity is full
I haven't had it, but log data is stored on the HD, so I would back up the address book and format the HD.sigpic

Re: Log data capacity is full
I see 5832-004 is just for the job log. So I think I would do just that, but wtf, back up the address book anyway just in case you get distracted and screw it up.sigpic

Re: Log data capacity is full
You can delete the log in User Tools.....
Specifying Delete All Logs
This can be specified by the machine administrator.
By deleting the log stored in the machine, you can free up space on the hard disk.
1. Press the [User Tools/Counter] key.
2. Press [System Settings].
3. Press [Administrator Tools].
4. Press [Delete All Logs].
If the setting to be specified does not appear, press [ Next] to scroll down to other settings.
A confirmation message appears.
5. Press [Yes].
6. Press [Exit].
7. Press the [User Tools/Counter] key.
I believe turning off log transfer will prevent this from happening in the future.....
Transfer Log Setting
The machine administrator can select [On] from the log server only.
When using the machine's control panel, you can change the setting to [Off] only if it is set to [On].
You can check and change the transfer log setting. This setting lets you transfer log files to the log server
to check the history data and identify unauthorized access.
